About Us

My Career with animals started after I graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, then moved to Hawaii to become a Dolphin trainer. Getting island fever after only a year, I moved to Southern California to start an 11 year career as a Veterinary Technician. It was after the birth of my daughter, that our family decided to move to Steamboat Springs, CO. For the last 5 years, I have been working as a technician, with 4 amazing Veterinarians, that have been my support staff through my adventures raising our beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog. Her first litter produced 7 beautiful puppies that have friendly dispositions and fit in seamlessly as incredible family pets. Ayla's first litter has taught us many lessons for even more successful future litters.
